Grab your passports and join us this week as teacher Kathleen McDonagh leads us on a trip through Bulgaria! Our journey begins in the Rhodopes region with a patterned pravo –Pravo Čepelarsko Horo. From there we travel west to Pirin where we’ll dance Dramskoto, a Šetnja-like dance. Then it’s off to Ruse in Northeastern Bulgaria for Čestata, a pajduško variant danced to mouth harp music. See you at the terminal this Friday, and don’t forget to pack your dance shoes!

Misi Tsurikov will review Potkorak, the Croatian dance that John Rodi taught us at SAFDF 2025 and that he brought to AIFD two weeks ago, and teach Karcmarocka, the Polish-Rusyn dance that Andy Taylor-Blenis taught us at SAFDF 2025.
