Paul Morrissett

Paul Morrissett is a life long international folk dancer who started playing dance music as a multi-instrumentalist for the Tomov Yugoslav Dance Troop in New York City in 1982. He has been on staff at the East Coast Balkan Camp, Ashokan Northern Week, both coast’s scandinavian camps, the Hardanger Fiddle Association of America workshops and the Mendocino Folklore camp. Paul concentrates on violin for most dances he plays for and has a substantial international repertoire. Paul has a 2006 Grammy award as the bassist with his world renown Klezmer group, the Klezmatics.
